One-On-One Solicitation Agenda
- Schedule 5-10 minute appointments with co-workers
- Review the purpose of the meeting – 2 minutes
- Explain your company’s support of United Way and how it impacts the community – 3 minutes
- Tell about why you support United Way – 3 minutes
- Ask for a pledge. Here are three ways: – 1 minute
- If you contributed last year, will you consider increasing your pledge?
- If you haven’t participated in a workplace campaign before, I hope you will consider it this year.
- Remember that payroll deductions make giving convenient and also allows you to spread your giving over the course of a year.
- Thank the employee for his/her time – 1 minute
