United Way's "my (gen)eration." Leadership Giving Program is focused on ideas, issues and activities that leaders aged 21-45 care about.

Giving to the United Way of Elkhart County is not only important, its appreciated. However, writing a check is a little removed from the action.

Members of "my (gen)eration." giving society want more action... want to get their hands dirty. They want to be "weekend warriors" and "heroes @ home" all while "getting their good on".

Special "get your hands dirty philanthropy" events will be held for "my (gen)eration." members. throughout the year. See the "my (gen)eration. brochure with this tool kit or visit www.unitedwayec.org for more information.

Leadership Giving Program

  • my (generation) leadership giver: $1,000 or more

Step-Up Bridgebuilder Program

  • 1st Year Step-Up Bridgebuilder: $500 - $999
  • 2nd Year Step-Up Bridgebuilder: $750- $999
  • 3rd Year Step-Up Bridgebuilder: $1,000 or more

(Spouses whose combined gifts total these amounts will be recognized as Leadership Givers)

    How can a family best develop the assets they need to remain financially stable during changes in income, illness or other events.
