Our Impact
The United Way is probably best known for supporting a network of Local Nonprofit Agencies.
Most people have, at one time or another, been approached to give by filing at a pledgecard at work. It is a wonderful tradition of giving. The United Way is proud of providing a convenient way for employees to give back to their community. It is surprising to discover how many people don’t understand that the United Way’s mission is so much more than the annual campaign. Today, the problems facing Elkhart County require a more strategic approach to charitable giving and donors are seeking more accountability. The United Way’s Community Impact Strategy uses Impact Area identified by volunteers to set goals, distribute funds and track progress. | ![]() |
